About Us

The members of the After Five String Quartet have each been playing for over 25 years and met while playing in the Georgia Philharmonic. It was during orchestra rehearsals in 1998 that they met and decided to form a quartet. Since each of them have "day jobs" that don't involve music, they decided to name the quartet "After Five."

After Five has quickly grown into one of the busiest string quartets in the Atlanta area, playing for all types of occasions. The quartet has played for hundreds of area events.
